Eligibility Criteria

  • * Patient recommended to undergo EVD placement for the monitoring and possible treatment of Intracranial pressure (ICP) after TBI
  • * Contaminated scalp lacerations
  • * Known systemic infection
  • * Non-English speaking
  • * Fixed, uncorrectable coagulopathy
