Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Researchers will test the effect of non-invasive vibrotactile stimulation of the larynx on symptom severity of unexplained chronic cough.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 88 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Adults aged 18-88
  2. * \>8 weeks of cough
  3. * Cough visual analogue scale (VAS): Rating of 30 or greater on a 0-100 cough severity scale
  4. * Ability to provide informed consent and independently complete questionnaires
  5. * Ability to read and speak English
  1. * Electronic implants (e.g., pacemaker)
  2. * Currently doing speech therapy for cough
  3. * Contraindications to safe or effective VTS device use
  4. * No regular access to wifi internet
