Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of a 6-month family-based community intervention to mitigate cardiovascular disease risk factors in Hispanic families in northern Colorado as measured through biometric screenings, body composition, physical activity, and health knowledge.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * At least one member of the family unit self-identifies as Hispanic
  2. * At least 13 years of age
  1. * Unwilling to wear Fitbit devices daily for 6 months except when charging and sleeping
  2. * Cannot read or understand either English or Spanish
  3. * Cannot return to screening location to perform the minimum of the baseline, 3-month and 6-month follow-up screenings
  4. * Children or adolescents will be excluded from this project without a minimum of one accompanying parent or guardian
