Hybrid Telehealth in Pediatric Physical Therapy

Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purposes of this study are to compare the impact of a hybrid of telehealth and in-person physical therapy services to in-person services alone on the in-home functional skills of children with moderate to severe disability. This is a mixed methods study.

Participation Criteria

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Children 2-17 years old with moderate to significant disability.
  2. * Families have access to minimum technology necessary to participate in a telehealth visit. ---The child's insurance covers telehealth visits.
  1. Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  2. Severe psychiatric disorders
  3. Active substance abuse
  4. Unstable medical conditions
  5. Inability to comply with study requirements
