Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The proposed study tests fear, gut peptide response, and perceptions of fullness as causes of gastrointestinal distress and eating disorder maintenance.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 40 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:FEMALE
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * female
  2. * DSM-5 eating disorder
  3. * score 16 or higher on the Clinical Impairment Assessment
  4. * experience nausea or stomachache after eating at least "sometimes"
  5. * 18 to 40 years old
  6. * body mass index between 18.5 and 26.5 kg/m2
  1. * medical conditions affect appetite or weight
  2. * Recent pregnancy or current breastfeeding
  3. * Dairy, strawberry or honey food allergy
  4. * Specific phobia, blood-injection-injury type
