Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this two-arm pilot RCT is to evaluate processes and preliminary outcomes of a targeted QOL intervention vs. an attention control among young AA survivors post-treatment for early (I-II) \& late (III) stage breast cancer.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 44 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:FEMALE
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Biologically born women
  2. * Self-identify as AA
  3. * Are aged 18 to 44 years on study entry
  4. * Are diagnosed with breast cancer stage I-III
  5. * Have completed treatment with chemotherapy and/or radiation for stage I-III breast cancer prior to study entry
  6. * Are English- speaking
  7. * Have telephone and internet access
  1. * Participation in formal survivorship navigation programs because they are associated with improved health- related outcomes, which could be a confounder
