The purpose of this study is to test whether or not regular exercise training may improve brain blood flow regulation in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).

  1. Age 18 years or older
  2. Willing and able to provide informed consent
  3. Able to understand and follow study procedures
  4. Stable medical condition
  1. * Heart failure
  2. * Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  3. * Uncontrolled hypertension or hypotension
  4. * Pregnancy or plans to become pregnant
  5. * Inability to exercise on a stationary bicycle
  6. * Current participation in exercise more than 20 minutes twice per week
