Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this research study is to test new technology-driven programs to see if they might help people manage their health and health behaviors related to alcohol use and well-being. The programs focus on getting to know what's important to participants, reviewing or setting goals, and using different skills and behaviors to manage health. The study will help researchers learn about ways to deliver health information in a way that is useful and interesting.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 70 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * AUD
  2. * past month heavy alcohol use
  3. * internet access
  4. * phone access
  5. * able to provide informed consent
  1. * inability to speak or understand English
  2. * conditions precluding informed consent or understanding of intervention or assessment content
  3. * recent AUD treatment
  4. * history of or at risk for complex alcohol withdrawal
  5. * involvement in another ongoing study for alcohol/mental health/substance use treatment
  6. * current cancer diagnosis/ currently receiving cancer treatment (other than skin cancers)
  7. * PI discretion
