Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • * Male age 18 and older
  • * No known history of prostate cancer
  • * No previous prostate resection or ablation (e.g. TURP, photovaporization)
  • * Unable to tolerate MRI due to metal fragments or claustrophobia
  • * Lack of a rectum
  • * Hip arthroplasty
