Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to determine if non-invasive distracting devices (Virtual Reality headset) are more effective than the standard of care (i.e., no technology based distraction) for preventing anxiety in parental and pediatric populations

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Ages 18-99 (Patient's parents will be enrolled)
  2. * Able to consent
  1. * People who do not consent
  2. * Significant Cognitive Impairment
  3. * History of Severe Motion Sickness
  4. * Current Nausea
  5. * Seizures
  6. * Visual Problems Patients whose children are clinically unstable or require urgent/emergent intervention
