This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This is a small pilot randomized controlled trial to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of the e-cigarette cessation text-messaging intervention with young adults in rural areas.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * English speaking
  2. * 18-24 years
  3. * everyday e-cigarette use in the past month
  4. * ownership of a mobile phone or smartphone with texting and internet access abilities
  5. * knowledge of how to use text messages
  6. * plan on quitting e-cigarette use within one month
  7. * home address in a rural county of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota
  1. * Individuals who reported use of other tobacco products (e.g., cigarettes, smokeless tobacco) than e-cigarettes in the past month
