Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The aim of the proposed study is to pilot test two behavioral sleep intervention strategies for improving insomnia among night shift working nurses.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:Yes
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Current shift working nursing staff in Oregon
  2. * Expect to continue on shift work schedule during the study
  3. * Meets criteria for an insomnia disorder
  4. * Elevated insomnia symptoms
  5. * Have daily access to internet on a smartphone, tablet, or computer; and
  6. * Can read and write in English
  1. * People with uncontrolled medical conditions
  2. * Presence of safety risk or condition in which study participation may be ineffective or result in increased risk to safety
  3. * Some current treatments for insomnia
  4. * Permanent day, evening, or rotating shift schedule
  5. * History of seizures or manic episode; or
  6. * Current/expected pregnancy during the study period
