Study Overview

This study tests whether hydroxycitrate, a molecule closely related to citrate, can reduce calcium phosphate stone recurrence.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. Age 18 years or older
  2. Willing and able to provide informed consent
  3. Able to understand and follow study procedures
  4. Stable medical condition
  1. * History of recurrent urinary tract infections
  2. * Chronic diarrhea
  3. * Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) \< 45 ml/min/1.73 m2
  4. * History of primary hyperparathyroidism
  5. * Hypokalemia
  6. * Hyperkalemia
  7. * Pregnancy
