Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

To compare the effects of cycling exercise with different types of virtual reality on processing/thinking speed in persons with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 65 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Speak English as their primary language
  2. * Confirmed MS diagnosis by a neurologist
  3. * Be relapse and steroid-free for at least 30 days
  4. * Moderate self-report mobility disability
  1. * History of neurological disorders besides MS or history of uncontrolled psychiatric disorders (ex: major depression)
  2. * Have contraindications to exercise, based on the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
  3. * Currently use medications that may impact cognition (ex: steroids, benzodiazepines)
  4. * Currently pregnant
  5. * Severe cognitive impairment as measured by the Modified Telephone Interview of Cognitive Status (TICS-M)
  6. * High likelihood of motion sickness
  7. * Regular cyclist, defined as cycling for at least 150 minutes/week
