This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

To determine if clinicians can safely reduce antibiotic exposure in children with medical complexity (CMC) who are diagnosed with pneumonia by implementing an intervention that bases total antibiotic duration on an individual's clinical stability.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:CHILD, ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Admitted to the Complex Care Service at Boston Children's Hospital with a provider diagnosis of pneumonia
  2. * Started on antibiotics by the provider team
  3. * Ages 2-25 years old
  1. * Patients initially admitted to the intermediate care unit or ICU due to increased respiratory support needs
