This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

To learn more about the experiences of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors and investigate whether a group-based writing intervention can help to improve quality of life of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 39 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Age 15-39 years at cancer diagnosis
  2. * Age 18-39 years at study entry
  3. * Within 5 years of diagnosis of stage II-IV cancer
  4. * Completed active treatment (participants receiving maintenance therapy remain eligible)
  5. * No evidence of disease
  6. * Can speak, read, and write in English.
  1. * Nonmelanoma skin cancer
  2. * Major mental health disorder (e.g., schizophrenia or bipolar disorder \[determined from patient records or self-disclosure\])
  3. * No internet access.
