Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

This develops a novel behavioral tobacco cessation program for pregnant smokers in San Bernardino County.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:FEMALE
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * \< 24 weeks pregnant
  2. * age \> 18 years,
  3. * current smokers (100 cigarettes in their lifetime and \>3 cigarettes per day in the last 7 days; including poly-tobacco use, combining cigarettes with non-combustible products) confirmed by expired carbon monoxide (CO)
  4. * willing to quit smoking and set a quit date in the next 2 weeks upon enrolling
  5. * enrolled in prenatal care at Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) or Riverside University Health System (RUHS)
  1. * severe mental health problems that prevent informed consent and/or CHW intervention
  2. * women who were on Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) or enrolled in a cessation program within 30 days
  3. * unwillingness to participate in audio-recorded key informant interviews or focus groups
