Description

The purpose of the research is to examine the effectiveness of navigation in maxillary sinus balloon dilation for the treatment of chronic maxillary rhinosinusitis.

Participation Criteria

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Adults 18 years of age or older
  2. * Candidate for primary endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) for chronic maxillary rhinosinusitis without nasal polyposis (CRSwNP)
  3. * Failed medical (non-surgical) therapy
  1. * History of previous sinus surgery
  2. * Presence of nasal polyps
  3. * Extensive sinonasal osteogeneis
  4. * Cystic fibrosis
  5. * Presence of sinonasal tumors
  6. * Any records flagged "break the glass" or "research opt out."
  7. * Any additional finding which in the opinion of the investigator precludes patient from participating in the study
