Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

This study is being done to identify patient and caregiver burdens regarding their experience with diagnosis and treatment of CNS tumors. These results will help doctors find areas where patients and caregivers may need more support.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Standard Ages:ADULT, OLDER_ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * \* Age ≥ 18 years.
  2. * Diagnosis of primary or metastatic CNS tumor with a primary caregiver, should patient wish to involve one.
  3. * Willing and able to participate in a semi-structured interview lasting approximately 60 minutes. Dyad interviews conducted for participants who elect to involve a caregiver.
  4. * Willing and able to participate in a single follow-up interview. Dyad follow up interviews conducted for participants who elect to involve a caregiver.
  1. * \* Uncontrolled and/or intercurrent illness which limits participation in study interview.
  2. * Vulnerable populations: pregnant or nursing persons, prisoners, or persons lacking capacity for understanding.
  3. * Unable to read and speak English.
  4. * Note: English does not need to be primary language.
