Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

A single-blind randomized controlled trial to study the effects of a labor guide on perceived control in labor. The experimental arm will receive an evidence-based labor guide at the time of admission for scheduled induction of labor. The control arm will receive the standard of care in-person counseling regarding options for labor interventions

Participation Criteria

Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Nulliparous
  2. * Singleton pregnancy
  3. * English-speaking
  4. * Undergoing induction of labor for a medical or elective indication
  5. * Reached at least 36 weeks 0 days gestation
  6. * Willing and able to sign a consent form
  7. * Delivering at OHSU
  1. * Undergoing induction termination
  2. * Fetal complications such as multiple gestation, major fetal anomalies, fetal demise
  3. * Decisionally-impaired adults
  4. * Minors
