Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this proposal is to launch the first trial of a single-session intervention (SSI) specifically for the prevention of eating disorders (EDs).

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:18 Years to 22 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:ALL
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * EAT-26 score ≥ 20 ( EAT-26, participants will meet the "referral criteria" which includes a score of 20 or more or meeting frequency criteria on bingeing, purging, laxative/diuretic use, and/or exercise.)
  2. * English-language fluency, self-reported3
  3. * Access to a phone, tablet, or computer
  1. * Failure to correctly complete one of the attention checks in the survey prior to the intervention
  2. * Failure to correctly complete both anagram tasks in the survey prior to the intervention
  3. * Completion of the screening survey or pre-intervention surveys in an improbably fast time
