Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of this study is to create a program focused on mindfulness and stress reduction specifically tailored to young adult Black males.

Participation Criteria

Sexes Eligible for Study:MALE

Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * Age: 18-29
  2. * Ethnicity: non-Hispanic Black
  3. * Gender: Male
  4. * does not meet the DSM-V criteria for substance use disorder or dependence or severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);
  5. * Neighborhood
  1. * non-English speakers,
  2. * meet the DSM-V criteria for substance use disorder or dependence or severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);
  3. * women;
  4. * men of other racial/ethnic groups;
  5. * neighborhood outside of high VAOD neighborhood in Durham County, NC or North Hartford Promise Zone, CT.
