A Clinical Study to Assess the Effects of JoyRise Recovery Powder on Mitigating Alcohol Aftereffects.
Description

This study assesses the effectiveness of JoyRise Recovery Powder in reducing alcohol aftereffects, cognitive impairment, and anxiousness among participants aged 35-54 who consume alcohol. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the JoyRise group or a placebo group. The study will measure hangover symptoms, cognitive function, and overall well-being through a series of questionnaires and cognitive tests at baseline, 30 minutes after product consumption, and 4 hours later.

Joyuus - A Web-based Tool for Postpartum Care Self-care for Underserved Women
Description

The goal of this RCT is to evaluate the effectiveness of Joyuus on improving maternal functioning with postpartum moms. The main questions it aims to answer are: * The primary hypothesis is that participants of the Joyuus program will demonstrate improved functional status compared to the control arm participants at 3-month follow-up. * The secondary hypotheses are that participants using the Joyuus tool will demonstrate improvement in depression, anxiety, resilience, social support, and knowledge compared to the control arm at 6- and 12-weeks follow-up.

Use of Joystick-operated Ride-on-toys to Improve Affected Arm Use and Function in Children With Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy
Description

This research is being done to explore if modified, commercially available, joystick-operated, ride-on-cars can be used to promote bilateral arm function in children with hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy (CP). Specifically, the study evaluates the effects of a 6-week, home-based, child-friendly, innovative program that uses modified, commercially available, joystick-operated, powered ride-on-toys to promote spontaneous affected arm use and function in children with hemiplegic CP.

RATIONALE: Gathering information about how often problems with neurocognitive functioning occur in patients with newly diagnosed upper aerodigestive tract cancers may help doctors learn more about the disease. PURPOSE: This clinical trial is studying neurocognitive functioning in patients with newly diagnosed upper aerodigestive tract cancers receiving treatment at Henry-Joyce Cancer Clinic.
