This study will assess the impact of IOL glistenings on visual quality and function in patients implanted with a single-piece AcrySof intraocular lens (IOL) that exhibits glistening formations. The primary objective is to determine if random light scattering (measured by C-Quant)correlates with severity of glistenings, other objective measures of visual function (visual acuity, low contrast visual acuity, low contrast visual acuity with glare), and subjective measures of patients' perceptions of their visual quality after cataract surgery (quality of life survey, reports of symptomology and satisfaction).
The goal of this observational study is to assess the effect of intraocular lens (IOL) movement in patients who have undergone Clareon® Vivity® IOL implantation. The main question it aims to answer is: Does an association exist between IOL movement and patient quality of vision? Participants implanted with Clareon® Vivity® and Vivity® Toric IOLs will be asked to do the following: * consent to participate in the study * allow researchers to access their personal medical records * undergo a series of tests to assess the position of their IOLs and quality of vision Researchers will assess participant examination results to determine whether an association exists between IOL movement and patient quality of vision.
This is a two-part, multi-center, investigator-initiated clinical study comparing visual outcomes and patient satisfaction in subjects receiving bilateral implantation of either the Clareon PanOptix intraocular lens (IOL) or a comparable multifocal IOL. The study includes a retrospective/prospective pilot phase and a prospective, randomized comparison phase.

Tecnis Symfony Optiblue EDOF IOL is the latest version of Tecnis Symfony IOL with a violet light filter (VLF), which blocks short-wavelength light and improves the quality of vision while minimizing visual disturbances. The present study aims to assess the visual outcomes at distance, intermediate, and near following cataract surgery and implantation of Tecnis Symfony Optiblue IOL in patients with retinal comorbidities.

A Study to Evaluate the enVista® Aspire (EA) intraocular lens in Subjects Undergoing Cataract Extraction
This research study is evaluating the safety and efficacy (performance) of the Bausch + Lomb enVista Beyond Hydrophobic Acrylic Extended Depth of Focus Intraocular Lens (IOL) in subjects who receive this IOL in both eyes.
The goal of this clinical trial is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the full visual range AT ELANA 841P IOL when used to treat adult patients having cataract surgery. Subjects will be randomly selected to receive a pair of IOLs, either the AT ELANA 841P or CT LUCIA 621P lens design. All patients will undergo surgery in both eyes, and they will receive follow up care for up to 6-months. During this time, all patients will undergo thorough eye exams at every study visit and complete questionnaires about their quality of vision post-surgery.
This study is a single center, multi-surgeon, prospective, randomized, comparative study of binocular corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) after successful bilateral cataract surgery. Subjects will be assessed pre-operatively, operatively and at up to 6 postoperative visits. Clinical evaluations will include administration of patient reported spectacle usage questionnaire (PRSIQ), as well as measurement of monocular and binocular visual acuities at distance, intermediate, and near, defocus curve, manifest refraction, measurement of higher order aberrations.

Tecnis Symfony Optiblue (Johnson \& Johnson Vision, Santa Ana, CA, Unites States) is a violet light filtering extended depth of focus intraocular lens (IOL) that provides a continuous range of clear vision at far and intermediate. Tecnis Synergy™ IOL (Johnson \& Johnson Vision, Santa Ana, CA, Unites States) is another latest United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approved IOL, designed to provide good acuity at far through near distances, reducing the need for spectacles. These IOLs are approved/licensed for use and are not investigational. The present study intends to evaluate the clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction following contralateral implantation of Tecnis Synergy and Symfony Optiblue in cataract patients. The investigator hypothesizes that the contralateral implantation of these two lenses will allow a good proportion of patients to be spectacle independent at distance, intermediate, and near. The findings of this study may help the surgeons make better decisions on the choice of IOL in the future.
To evaluate visual outcomes and quality of vision following bilateral implantation of the Clareon PanOptix intraocular lens (IOL) targeted for emmetropia.
This is a prospective, multi-center, masked, three-arm, randomized clinical study of the TECNIS Eyhance Toric II IOL (test #1) and TECNIS Synergy Toric II (test #2) compared to the TECNIS Toric 1-Piece IOL (control).
This study is a 6-month, prospective, multicenter, bilateral, randomized subject- and evaluator-masked, clinical investigation of the TECNIS Eyhance IOL versus the TECNIS 1-piece IOL. The study will be conducted at up to 15 sites in the U.S.A and will enroll approximately 220 subjects to achieve approximately 200 randomized and bilaterally implanted subjects, resulting in approximately 100 evaluable subjects in each lens group at 6 months. Subjects are to be implanted with the same IOL in both eyes: TECNIS Eyhance IOL or the TECNIS 1-Piece IOL. The eye implanted first will be considered the primary study eye.
The objective is to evaluate refractive stability (spherical equivalent change ≤ 0.50D from 1-month to 3-months).
The purpose of this study is to compare the binocular distance, intermediate, and near visual acuity of the Alcon Vivity and Bausch \& Lomb enVista IOLs. We hypothesize that the Alcon Vivity and Bausch \& Lomb enVista IOLs will have similar distance, intermediate, and near visual acuity. If the null hypothesis is rejected, then the visual performance of the IOLs may be different.
The introduction of presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses (PC-IOLs) has provided cataract and refractive surgeons the ability to provide patients with a wider range of visual success and spectacle independence post-cataract surgery.Multifocal (MFIOL) IOLs have the ability to provide near and distance vision, and in the case of trifocal IOLs, near, intermediate and distance. Despite the significant technological evolution of MFIOL's, the potential for visual disturbances, such as glare, halos and starbursts still exists-and in much greater frequency compared to their monofocal counterparts. Extended depth of focus (EDOF) IOLs aim to provide patients with a functional range of vision, with a similar visual disturbance profile to a monofocal lens. In this way, this subset of PC-IOL's can offer patients some degree of spectacle independence, with a significantly lower incidence of visual disturbances. The Vivity Extended Vision IOL is the first of its kind to offer Wavefront Stretching technology, providing patients with an excellent extended range of vision from intermediate to distance, as well as some functional near vision. Prior studies have demonstrated very good vision in both bright and dim lighting conditions, as well as a high degree of spectacle independence with the Vivity IOL, as compared to a monofocal IOL. Studies evaluating the ability of the Vivity IOL to provide a significant impact on patient lifestyle (e.g. patient independence from spectacles for most activities with a low rate of visual disturbances) in the United States in a 'real-world' setting have yet to be performed. In addition, influence of pre-and-perioperative variables such as sex, age, prior refractive surgery, IOL formula used, axial length, astigmatism, use of intraoperative aberrometry, femtosecond laser and pupillary expansion devices has yet to be evaluated on the postoperative success of this IOL. This study will be comprised of patients with visually significant cataracts who will undergo cataract extraction with implantation of the spherical and/or toric models of the Vivity Extended Vision (Alcon, Fort Worth TX) intraocular lens. Upon decision of the patient and surgeon to undergo surgery, patients will be offered the option to enroll in this observational study.
The investigators seek to assess the effect of pre-operative and continued post-operative corticosteroid use on pain, patient preference, visual outcomes, and change in objective quantifiable biological parameters in patients undergoing bilateral cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens implantation with or without baseline ocular surface disease. Patient's first eye scheduled for surgery will receive an intracanalicular insertion of DEXTENZA (dexamethasone release profile of QID, TID, BID, QD, over 30 days; study eye). The fellow-eye will receive topical prednisolone acetate 1% (tapering schedule of QID, TID, BID, QD over 30 days). The fellow-eye design in n=30 patients (60 eyes) allows for balance in patient baseline demographic and systemic characteristics.
To investigate whether implantation of a capsular tension ring device will affect the degree of rotation of an implanted toric intraocular lens following cataract surgery.
Angle Kappa is considered a potential factor in explaining suboptimal outcomes with intraocular lenses (IOLs), particularly multifocal IOLs. Some evidence suggests this is not the case. This study was designed to investigate correlations between angle kappa and post-surgical outcomes with a trifocal IOL.
