The purpose of this clinical research study is to determine whether the ESTRING or a special preparation of a testosterone cream inserted vaginally are safe for use in breast cancer patients. This study will also evaluate if either of these treatments can improve symptoms of vaginal dryness or decreased sexual interest that are related to your treatment for breast cancer.

RATIONALE: The hormone testosterone may improve the libido (sex drive) in women. It is not yet known whether testosterone is effective in improving libido in female cancer survivors. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying how well low-dose testosterone works to improve libido in postmenopausal cancer survivors.
This study is to evaluate the efficacy of four supplements designed to help participants get ready for sexual intimacy through improving digestion, weight management, sexual drive and stamina, and physical endurance during workouts and overall mood and quality of life. This study will be conducted as a single group, virtual trial, in which all participants will take all four supplements and complete online questionnaires. Participants will take the indicated supplements for the indicated amounts of time over 12 weeks. Questionnaires will be completed at baseline, and then at indicated times throughout the trial.
The purpose of this study is to determine if the study drug will increase sexual desire in men with HSDD. Half of the participants will take ADDYI while the other half will receive a placebo (a look-alike pill with no medicine).
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, direct-to-consumer trial assessing the impact of health and wellness products on hormonal health and associated health outcomes in women with menopausal health issues
The overall objective of this program of research is to improve sexual health outcomes for women diagnosed with breast cancer. Our team is developing a multi-component intervention for the four key predictors of sexual health in female cancer survivors: self-image, vulvovaginal tissue quality and symptoms, desire/energy, and relationship-partner concerns. This proposal begins the proof-of-concept pilot study in women with a history of breast cancer to deliver a multi-component intervention to improve vulvo-vaginal atrophy with a vaginal moisturizer, and sexual energy and self-image with a mind-body intervention that involves relaxation and subconscious suggestions with a hypnotic induction delivered via audio file. The primary outcome will be to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of a multi-component intervention for sexual function. It is hypothesized that at least eighty percent of randomized participants will complete the study without differential withdraws from the control group.
The purpose of this study will be to examine the effectiveness of Geranylgeraniol supplementation on sexual health function in males and females following an 8-week dose escalation intervention. The study will be carried out in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel manner. Participants will be stratified into quartiles based on their scores on the Derogatis Interview for Sexual Functioning during screening and prior to baseline testing. Participants from each quartile will be randomly divided by into treatment or placebo conditions. Following randomization, participants will be baseline assessed on their sexual health function using a variety of questionnaires, body composition using a whole body Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry scan, blood chemistry panel, and grip strength using a hand-held dynamometer. Following baseline testing, participants will undergo 8 weeks of supplementation of their respective supplement condition. Participants will be instructed to consume two servings a day (150mg total per day) from weeks 1-4. Subject will return to the study site after 4 weeks to reassess the above-mentioned parameters. Participants will then undergo a dose escalation and be instructed to consume two servings a day (300mg total per day) from week 5-8. Sexual health questionnaires and assessments of body composition, blood chemistry, and grip strength will be conducted following the week 8 to conclude the study.
Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) affects up to 43% of women in the United States and Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) is the most common form. There is no standardized treatment for this condition. We know that alternative therapies such as acupuncture have been beneficial to women suffering from urinary incontinence, chronic lower back pain, and migraines. We hypothesize that the quality of life for premenopausal women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) will improve with initiation of acupuncture therapy for a duration of 5-weeks. Validated questionnaires are administered at the time of enrollment and 1 week after the final acupuncture session as the method of analyzing our primary outcome.
This study compares LY2452473 taken orally as a 5 milligram (mg) capsule at the same time as a 5 mg tadalafil tablet with three different combination tablets (LY900010) of 5 mg LY2452473 and 5 mg tadalafil taken orally. The study will evaluate the amount of LY2452473 and tadalafil circulating in the blood for each treatment. Side effects will be documented. This study is approximately 34 days not including screening.

The enzyme 5-alpha reductase is present in small amounts in muscle and converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Testosterone affects lean body tissue, muscle size, muscle strength, and sexual function in men. This study will evaluate how 5-alpha reductase influences the effects of testosterone in young healthy men.
The overall aim of this research is to adapt and pilot test a multi-component, mindfulness-based behavioral intervention for women age 50 and older with low sexual desire.
SUMMARY: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder among reproductive age women with a prevalence as high as 15%. The clinical symptoms of PCOS including menstrual dysfunction, infertility, hirsutism, alopecia, acne, and the possible increased risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease have been reported to be significant contributors to psychological morbidity and impact health-related quality of life. For women with PCOS, the changes in physical appearance and the associated mood disorders appear to be deleterious for sexual function. Vitamin D deficiency (\<20 ng/ml serum concentration of 25\[OH\]D), which affects from 67% to 85% of women,4 is closely linked to symptoms of PCOS. The main physiologic role of vitamin D is to regulate calcium and phosphorus homeostasis and to promote bone health. Although there has been an increase in awareness of the importance of sexual dysfunction and QoL in women with PCOS, few studies have evaluated the outcomes of treatment for PCOS upon sexual and subjective health status of women. The goals of this study are: 1. To evaluate the prevalence of sexual dysfunction (SDy) in women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) 2. To determine the effects of Vitamin D therapy, with and without hormonal contraceptives, on SDy in women with PCOS in the absence of depression. METHODS: The study will enroll 60 women diagnosed with PCOS and reporting SDy at the Wright State Physicians (WSP) OB-GYN Practice and the WSP Family Medicine Practice. All participants will take vitamin D 600IU/day and will choose between hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptive methods (target of 30 participants in each group). Participants will complete three study visits (Initial, Month 3, and Month 6). Vitamin D levels will be drawn at the beginning of the study and again at 3 and 6 months after initiation of vitamin D therapy. Each participant will be asked to complete the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) prior to initiation of treatment and again at 6 months.
The Testosterone Trials are a multi-center set of trials involving 12 clinical sites geographically distributed across the United States. The primary specific aims are to test the hypotheses that testosterone treatment of elderly men whose serum testosterone concentrations are unequivocally low - and who have symptoms and objectively measured abnormalities in at least one of five areas that could be due to low testosterone (physical or sexual function, vitality, cognition, and anemia) - will result in more favorable changes in those abnormalities than placebo treatment. Two additional trials have been incorporated into the T Trial. Only men enrolled in the T Trial are eligible to participate in these trials. * The Cardiovascular Trial will examine if testosterone treatment results in more favorable changes in cardiovascular risk factors, compared to placebo. * The Bone Trial will test the hypothesis that testosterone treatment will increase volumetric trabecular bone mineral density (vBMD) of the lumbar spine as measured by quantitative computed tomography (QCT), compared with placebo treatment. A Pharmacokinetic (PK) Study is also being conducted within the context of the interventional T Trial. It will examine the variability of the serum testosterone (T) concentration after application of testosterone gel or placebo, four months after the start of treatment.
