Study Overview

This clinical trial focuses on testing the efficacy of different digital interventions to promote re-engagement in cancer-related long-term follow-up care for adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of childhood cancer.

Description

The purpose of the study is to examine the impact of the hemp-derived minor cannabinoids on symptoms of menopause/perimenopause.

Participation Criteria

Researchers look for people who fit a certain description, called eligibility criteria. Some examples of these criteria are a person's general health condition or prior treatments.

Ages Eligible for Study:40 Years to 60 Years
Sexes Eligible for Study:FEMALE
Accepts Healthy Volunteers:No
Standard Ages:ADULT
Inclusion CriteriaExclusion Criteria
  1. * designated female at birth
  2. * 40-60 years of age
  3. * able to give informed consent (no intellectual disability)
  4. * stable pharmacotherapeutic regimen, no change in the past 3 months
  5. * abstinent from regular cannabis use (\<1x/month) for past year, and willing to abstain from use for 3 months
  6. * abstinent for supplements, don't add any supplements (no changes in past 3 months)
  7. * own a smartphone
  8. * have access to Zoom on a secure, stable internet connection
  9. * perimenopausal or menopausal
  1. * currently taking anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and/or antipsychotic medication
  2. * severe depression, neurovegetative symptoms, or current suicidality
  3. * psychosis or family history of psychosis
  4. * pregnant or breastfeeding
  5. * chemotherapy
  6. * hypotension
  7. * drug testing for work or other reasons
  8. * illicit drug use in past 3 months (cannabis not illicit)
  9. * heavy alcohol use (4 drinks more than 4x/week)
  10. * international/air travel planned for more than one week in the next 3 months
