This study aims to assess the immune response and safety of GSK's candidate chickenpox and marketed MMR vaccines when given to children 12 to 15 months of age via a muscle injection. It compares the GSK vaccines to Merck's chickenpox vaccine, administered just under the skin. Additionally, the study will evaluate the immune response and safety of giving the GSK vaccines along with other childhood vaccines through a muscle injection.
The purpose of this study is to assess the consistency of immune response to three different lots of GSK's investigational varicella vaccine (VNS Vaccine), and to compare the safety and immune response of VNS vaccine to an already approved varicella vaccine (VV) known as Varivax. The study will be conducted in healthy children aged 12 to 15 months, who have neither contracted varicella nor received a varicella vaccination.

This study aims to conduct a randomized clinical trial to measure the effects of a 3-month daily mixed-soy food intervention vs. a control group receiving isocaloric foods on reproductive hormones, body composition, metabolic risk, fecal microbiota, and cognition among 8-11-year-old children. Additionally, this study will assess soy food intake immediately following participation in the clinical trial to determine changes in soy food acceptance in children.
The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety, extent of the side effects, and immune responses of the study vaccine (called variant-adapted BNT162b2 RNA-based vaccine) in healthy children. The trial is divided into 5 individual studies or substudies based on age group and prior history of COVID-19 vaccinations. All participants in each of the 5 sub-studies will receive study vaccine as a shot depending on what group they are in. * Substudy A design: Phase 1 includes participants 6 months through less than 4 years 3 months of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naïve) and will receive 3 doses of study vaccine as their initial series, followed by a fourth dose of study vaccine. Phase 2/3 includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naive) and will receive 1, 2, or 3 doses of study vaccine, depending on what group they are in. * Substudy B design: includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have either received 2 or 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their third or fourth dose. * Substudy C design: Phase 1 includes participants 6 months through less than 5 years of age who have received 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their fourth dose. * Substudy D design: includes participants 5 through less than12 years of age who have received 2 or 3 prior doses of BNT162b2 and will receive study vaccine as their third or fourth dose. * Substudy E design: includes participants 5 through less than 12 years of age who have not received a previous coronavirus vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine naive) and will receive a single dose of study vaccine.
This study will evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of the mRNA-1273.214 vaccine for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) variant of concerns (VOCs) in participants aged 6 months to \<6 years, when administered as a primary series in SARS-CoV-2 vaccine-naïve participants (Part 1) and a single booster dose (BD) given to participants who previously received 2 doses of the mRNA-1273 vaccine as a primary series (Part 2); and will evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of the mRNA-1273.815 vaccine, when administered as a BD in participants aged 6 months to \<6 years (Part 3) and when administered to SARS-CoV-2 vaccine-naïve participants aged 2 years to \<5 years of age (Part 4).
Background: During the first few decades of life, the brain changes dramatically in shape and function. Sleep lets researchers measure these changes. Researchers want to create a database of sleep and neurodevelopmental data in a group of infants and children to learn more. Objective: To address a knowledge and data gap in the field of sleep and neurodevelopment in infants and children. Eligibility: Children ages 6 months to 76 months who may or may not be at risk for neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Also, children ages 6 months to 8 years who have a referral for a sleep study. Design: Participants will have neurodevelopmental testing. They will have a medical, psychiatric, and family history. They will have a physical and neurological exam. They will be interviewed and complete surveys. They will give a cheek swab and/or blood sample. Some participants will have 1 study visit that lasts 2 days. Other participants will have up to 4 study visits. Each visit will last 2 days. Visits occur every 8 months to 1 year, for a total participation time of 2 years. Participants will have a 20-minute daytime electroencephalogram (EEG), if possible. This EEG session will be used to calibrate the machine for the overnight study. Participants will take part in an inpatient overnight sleep study. Electrodes will be placed on the participants. For young children, parents will help place the EEG leads. Other sensors may also be placed. A gauze cap will be placed on participants head to protect the leads and keep the participants from moving them. 'Lights out' will occur as close to participants bedtime as possible.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of PCV21 versus 20vPCV ( 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, Prevnar 20) for catch-up vaccination in infants (7 to 11 MoA-Months of age), toddlers (12 to 23 MoA), and children/adolescents (2 to 5 YoA and 6 to 17 YoA-years of age).
The goals of the program are to help struggling fathers and father figures improve the parent-child relationship, sustain healthy marriages and relationships (and help those who are single identify ways to enter into safe and supportive relationships that may ultimately lead to marriage), and identify and support fathers in their economic stability and employment objectives. These outcomes will be achieved through a series of workshops addressing responsible parenting and marriage and relationships as well as a complement of employment services and comprehensive case management. Additional services needed by participants will be identified and provided either through wraparound programming provided by JFCS or through collaborative agreements with local partner agencies. Additionally, Ignite will incorporate a comprehensive employment program combining both job and career advancement.
High food motivation among children is trait-like and increases risks of unhealthy dietary intake and obesity. Scientific knowledge of how parenting can best support healthy eating habits and growth among children who are predisposed to overeating is surprisingly limited. This investigation will identify supportive food parenting approaches for obesity prevention that address the needs of highly food motivated children.
